Casa Verde Baterii 2026 (AFM) – sisteme de stocare pentru prosumatori

Romania: Casa Verde Baterii guide approved – RON 15,000 for 10 kWh+ batteries, registration date still pending

The RON 400m battery programme for existing prosumers was approved by Order 1.904/2026 (Official Gazette 775 of 14 September 2026): up to 75 % of the project, max RON 15,000 incl. VAT, for lithium or sodium batteries of at least 10 kWh. AFM must first validate installers and set the registration session by presidential decision; as of late October 2026 no date had been published.

Romania: €150m Modernisation Fund call for stand-alone batteries extended to 15 November 2026

Companies can still apply in MySMIS2021 until 15 November 2026, 23:59 (extended from 30 October) for grants of up to €15m per enterprise, up to 100 % of eligible costs and capped at €69,000 per MWh, for new stand-alone battery storage of at least 1 MW with at least two hours of storage.

Legea 160/2026 (legea prosumatorilor) și metodologia ANRE de compensare

Romania: prosumer law 160/2026 in force – monthly settlement, multi-site compensation, netting to 2030

Law 160/2026 (Official Gazette 603/2026, in force 26 July 2026) keeps quantitative compensation for prosumers up to 200 kW per site until 31 December 2030, introduces monthly invoicing and settlement, allows compensation across several sites and lets households up to 27 kW use surplus value for gas bills; 200–400 kW systems move to financial regularisation at the monthly average PZU price. ANRE's draft methodology of 20 August 2026 is planned to apply from 1 January 2027.

Casa Verde Fotovoltaice (AFM)

Romania: Casa Verde Fotovoltaice — no 2026 session for new PV; AFM budget redirected to the RON 400 m battery scheme

There is no Casa Verde Fotovoltaice session for new PV systems in 2026: the AFM budget approved on 21 May 2026 contains no funds for new PV files (the former RON 1.5bn allocation went to water and sewage projects) and finances only the RON 400m Casa Verde Baterii storage programme. As of 21 October 2026 AFM had announced no PV session.
