According to the Association of Prosumers and Energy Communities (APCE), quoted by AGERPRES on 12 May 2026, the Casa Verde Fotovoltaice programme was dropped from the 2026 budget of the Environmental Fund Administration (AFM) for the second year running, and its previous RON 1.5 billion allocation was transferred to a water-and-sewage programme for municipalities. The budget approved on 21 May 2026 keeps RON 400 million for prosumer batteries (Casa Verde Baterii) and RON 300 million for Rabla; the ministry's list of 2026 sessions does not include Casa Verde Fotovoltaice, and installer trackers report that as of 21 October 2026 no PV session had been announced.
For installers: do not promise AFM vouchers for new residential PV systems in 2026; position battery retrofits for existing prosumers under Casa Verde Baterii and commercial projects under the Modernisation Fund instead.
