The third call of Energia dla Wsi opened on 1 October 2026 with PLN 400 million (PLN 260 million in grants and PLN 140 million in loans) and a formal deadline of 31 January 2027. On 2 October 2026 NFOŚiGW announced that the budget had already been exhausted: applications whose requested funding exceeds the available allocation will be assessed only if the budget is increased, in order of submission date and time, and all savings from the first two calls are to be transferred to this call. The number and value of applications were not disclosed.
Conditions of the call: farmers with at least 12 months of agricultural activity may build PV or wind installations of more than 50 kW up to 1 MW (not on class I–IV farmland) and hydro or biogas plants of 10 kW–1 MW; energy cooperatives, their members and cooperatives being formed qualify for 10 kW–10 MW. Grants cover up to 65% of eligible costs for hydro and biogas and up to 20% for storage (max PLN 20 million); PV and wind receive loans only, up to 100% of costs (max PLN 25 million). Storage must be integrated with the source built in the same project, works may not start before the application, and submission is electronic via GWD.
For installers: treat new farm-PV applications as a waiting list until NFOŚiGW publishes the top-up amount, and prepare the documentation now so clients are ready if the budget is increased or a fourth call is announced.
