The Climate Ministry and NFOŚiGW are preparing the Zielona Transformacja programme financed by the EEA and Norway Grants 2021–2028: close to PLN 800 million, about PLN 680 million of it grant money, across nine competitions. According to Gramwzielone.pl (28 October 2026) the first calls are expected in Q4 2026; applicants get one month to study the documentation and three months to submit in the NFOŚiGW generator.
The call most relevant to PV is Energy storage for RES development: roughly PLN 83.5 million (about EUR 20 million) for 1–10 MW battery storage directly integrated with existing RES installations, grants of up to 65% and roughly PLN 8.5–10.6 million per project (GLOBEnergia reported EUR 0.2–2.5 million in June 2026). At least 75% of stored energy must come from the connected RES installation; smaller storages may be bundled into one application. Applicants are companies generating and operating RES installations. A separate call for existing energy communities offers about PLN 140 million at up to 85%.
For installers: PV farm owners among your clients should pre-select battery suppliers and grid-connection concepts now, because the submission window will be short once the documentation appears.
