RVO opened the SDE++ 2026 round on 27 October 2026 (09:00); it closes on Thursday 26 November 2026 at 17:00. The budget is €8 billion, with €750 million ring-fenced for each of three heat and molecule domains. Applications are ranked by subsidy intensity in five phases: €75 per tonne CO₂ until 2 November, €150 until 9 November, €225 until 16 November, €300 until 23 November and €400 until closing. Solar PV from 15 kWp is eligible with separate base amounts for feed-in and self-consumption, a 50% feed-in capacity limit and a full environmental permit; there is again no category for deferred delivery via batteries. Decisions follow within 13 weeks.
On the tax side, the Belastingplan 2027 (Prinsjesdag, 15 September 2026) raises the energie-investeringsaftrek from 40% to 45.5% of the investment from 1 January 2027, subject to approval by both chambers; the Energielijst 2027 is still to be published. Since 2026 the Energielijst admits PV up to 100 kWp per connection and batteries coupled to own generation.
For installers: Commercial customers who can postpone ordering to January 2027 gain 5.5 percentage points of extra deduction; SDE++ applicants need the permit and grid transport indication before 26 November.
