The arrêté of 1 June 2026, published in the Journal officiel on 4 June, rewrote the S21 tariff order. For complete connection requests filed from 5 June 2026 the investment premium ('prime à l'autoconsommation') for 0–100 kWc systems is abolished and the surplus is bought at a single fixed price of 1.1 c€/kWh, indexed 2 % per year over the contract (1.31 c€ in year 10, 1.60 c€ in year 20). Injection above 1,600 kWh/kWc per year is not paid, and the quarterly degression coefficients no longer apply to new requests.
Systems of 9 kWc or less are no longer eligible for full-sale ('vente totale') contracts. Above 100 kWc the tariff provisions were removed because that segment moved to the simplified 100–500 kWc tender on 22 September 2025. Requests filed before 5 June 2026 keep the former tariffs and premium.
For installers: the residential business case now rests on self-consumption and the 5.5 % VAT rate, not on export revenue — size systems to the load profile and propose storage, smart water heating or EV charging to raise the self-consumption ratio; complete contracts signed before 5 June 2026 within the Enedis deadlines to keep the old premium.
