Under Nová zelená úsporám 2026+ direct grants are reserved for low-income households in NZÚ Light. Owners of family houses (natural persons) apply to the SFŽP via the AIS portal – before, during or after the works – and the fund approves a zero-interest loan that a participating bank or building society then pays out; interest and fees are covered by the State Environmental Fund. For PV the loan is CZK 25,000 per kWp plus CZK 15,000 per kWh of storage, with a minimum of 3 kWp and a cap of CZK 400,000; an EV charging point is an eligible cost. Only new, grid-connected systems qualify, a renovation passport is required for partial renovations including standalone PV, and costs up to 12 months before the application are eligible.
The ministry published the conditions for banks on 16 September 2026; Buřinka (Česká spořitelna) started on 1 October 2026, ČSOB Stavební spořitelna on 19 October (minimum CZK 300,000), Modrá pyramida on 2 November and Komerční banka in November 2026. Maturities are 10–15 years (up to 25 years for low-income households). According to the ministry, banks may lend up to CZK 50 billion until 31 October 2029 or until the allocation is exhausted.
For installers: the bank checks creditworthiness separately from the SFŽP approval, so quote systems within the CZK 400,000 ceiling (roughly 6–8 kWp with 10 kWh storage) and prepare the renovation passport with the customer early.
