The Ministry of the Environment and the State Environmental Fund (SFŽP) are scaling back several Modernisation Fund calls because fewer applications arrived than expected. The agrivoltaics call RES+ 6/2025, opened on 15 January 2026, originally offered CZK 300 million until 30 June 2027; according to Ekonomický deník (20 October 2026) the allocation is cut to CZK 100 million and the deadline brought forward to 30 November 2026.
The call funds new agri-PV plants of at least 10 kWp on farmland registered in LPIS, with a single grid connection point, operated under Decree 463/2025 on agrivoltaic plants. Applicants must be agricultural entrepreneurs registered in the EZP with a generation licence or a licensed operator. Battery storage is eligible only as part of the new plant. Support is capped at 30 % of eligible costs and calculated by formula from installed kWp and usable battery kWh. No general RES+ call for company rooftop PV is open.
For installers: farms with projects in preparation must submit via AIS SFŽP before 30 November 2026; module warranties (12-year product warranty, 80 % output), inverter warranties and battery data sheets are required with the application.
