The Jedlik Ányos Energy Programme's business storage call (code 2025/MA/TAROLO/01) was published by the National Energy Agency (NEÜ) on 20 November 2025 with a budget of HUF 50 billion, half reserved for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises. Grants ranged from HUF 10 million to 1 billion per project at 50 % (micro and small), 40 % (medium) and 30 % (large) intensity, with a 30 % advance. Applications were accepted from 12 January 2026 until funds ran out and at the latest 15 February 2026; projects must be completed by 31 December 2028.
Electrical or thermal storage was the only standalone eligible activity; new PV was fundable only if it directly serves the storage and up to 33 % of eligible costs. At least 75 % of the energy stored each year must come from directly connected renewable sources, storage capacity must reach at least 20 % of the linked renewable capacity. As of early November 2026 no new round has been published.
For installers: winners are now implementing, so demand for C&I battery systems, hybrid inverters and PV extensions with a documented 75 % renewable share runs until 2028; watch neuzrt.hu for any follow-up call.
